‘Stalker’ was able to catch my interest until the very last page but sadly that is the only good thing I can say about the book. My friend told me that this is the 5th book following the detective Joona Linna but I did not feel that I needed to have read the previous books to get the feel of this character. Unfortunately, ‘Stalker’ didn’t do a great job to sell the other books in the series and it is not likely that I will continue the story. The story in the ‘Stalker’ was ok. However, I did not feel the main villain and although it was supposed to be a big plot twist I wish the authors had left some crumbs in the story so I could at least have had some suspicions on the villain which I didn’t at all. To summarise, I think that this would be an enjoyable read if you read the other books in the series, but I wouldn’t recommend starting on this one. It’s a good book if you are looking for something that is easy and quick to read.
